The real story that inspired 'The Nun' differs quite a bit from that of the film. In the tape, after the suicide of a young woman in a convent in Romania, the Vatican sent a novice and a priest who were experts in possessions. The real story, however, had another origin. The Lorraines saw in their own house the figure of a nun with the aesthetic that appears in the film. In addition, they were called to participate in an investigation that led them to an English church where it was claimed that a nun buried in its walls was in the vicinity

La historia real en la que se inspiró ‘La monja’ difiere bastante de la de la película. En la cinta, tras el suicidio de una joven en un convento de Rumanía, El Vaticano enviaba a una novicia y un cura expertos en posesiones. La historia real, sin embargo, tuvo otro origen. Los Lorraine vieron en su propia casa la figura de una monja con la estética que aparece en el filme. Además, fueron llamados a participar en una investigación que les llevó hasta una iglesia inglesa donde se aseguraba que una monja enterrada en sus muros rondaba las inmediaciones.

The film Child's Play, where a child has a doll with an evil spirit inside, is based on a true story. Robert is a life-size doll that belonged to the boy Gene Otto.  A classic in Madrid's halls of residence that little by little spread to other Spanish university environments. The story goes that a young girl was waiting for the night bus at a bus stop in the Metropolitan area, the most important center of residences in the capital. The place is characterized by being surrounded by parks on the university campus, which in conjunction with the buildings of the empty faculties and the night, was undoubtedly a setting worthy of a horror movie.
